Specific Waste Solutions offers specialised waste streams to help you manage your waste removal, examples include:

  • Asbestos waste
  • Rubber tyres – Includes car and truck tyres, casings, seconds, shredded tyres, or tyre pieces.
  • Silica dust – Includes brick, cement, concrete, drywall, grout, or tiles with silica.
  • Fibreglass roof sheeting
  • Fibro (compressed or not) and fibro cement sheeting.
  • Food & liquids – Includes food packaging, liquid foods & takeout containers.
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Batteries – All types – Includes car, lithium, electric tool, and toy batteries.

  • Liquid waste – Chemicals and paints – Includes empty paint tins and spray cans.

  • Medical waste – Includes needles, syringes, soiled dressings, diagnostic samples, blood, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and radioactive materials.

Specific Waste Solutions and our partners can provide hazardous waste removal for materials such as asbestos and contaminated soil if special arrangements are made prior to hire. Removal of hazardous waste must be done under strict guidelines and/or by licensed professionals. We also have a license to transport trackable waste and can apply for EPA transport permits if required.

Contact our office to explain what has happened. If the unacceptable item(s) cannot be removed or from the bin we advise of any additional removal costs that may be incurred. Any additional will be the responsibility of the hirer.

Yes, we charge up to 1.25% for Visa and Mastercard.

Generally, 14-day hire with bin removal on the 15th day. Maximum hire of 21-days unless alternative arrangements are made.

Please call our office to make alternative payments arrangements. If no agreement is made, Specific Waste Solutions reserves the right to remove the bin and leave the contents at the time of bin removal, or at another time with the same waste or equivalent volume of waste material.

We can offer same-day bin delivery. We generally require 24 to 72hrs notice for delivery or pickup, however, if you require an urgent service, please contact our office to make arrangements. Additional fees and charges may apply.

Permits are not required if you are placing your bin on your property. However, if you want to position your bin on public property a council permit may be required. Each council has different regulations, and we can assist you to find out about permit requirements.
